Rainier Council includes square dance clubs that dance at the mainstream level, plus level, and advanced & challenge level. It also includes clubs that only round dance (choreographed ballroom dancing). At most square dances, after two square dance numbers, couples will round dance for one or two numbers. Often a half-hour of round dancing (pre-rounds) precedes the square dance.
