The Hix 'n' Chix club hosted its 53rd Anniversary dance --its final dance--on May 21, 2010.  It was well attended, and all had a good time.  For the next year, at least, the club will be a traveling club.

On December 18 the Hix 'n' Chix club celebrated Willie Sewell's retirement after 13 great years as its caller. He was in his usual good form and good humor, with his assortment of seasonal headwear. Six squares filled the floor, with many visitors from the Kitsap area clubs (Willie and Missie live in Poulsbo) caravaning across the Narrows Bridge for the event.
